This policy explains which cookies Citely uses and why. We use few: the essentials to run the service and remember your preferences. No advertising tracking.
A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a site, to remember information across pages or visits (for example, keeping you signed in). Similar technologies (local storage) can serve the same role.
We use cookies minimally, for two reasons: to run the service (sign-in, security) and to remember your preferences (such as language). We do not use cookies to track you for advertising.
| Type | Role | Necessary? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | Sign-in, session, security. Without them, the service doesn't work. | Yes |
| Preferences | Remember your choices (e.g. language FR/EN). | No (convenience) |
| Analytics | Not used today. If we add any, this page will be updated and your consent collected if required. | — |
| Advertising | None. We don't show ads and don't sell profiling. | — |
When the app is used within the Shopify environment, Shopify's own cookies may apply, governed by Shopify's policy. The providers we use (hosting, payment) may set strictly technical cookies necessary for their operation.
You can manage or delete cookies from your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in or proper functioning of the service.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent. For any non-essential cookie we might use (for example analytics), we will collect your consent where regulation requires it, and you will be able to withdraw it at any time.
We may update this policy if our cookie usage changes. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page.
